The EB-503/238 dual PS is designed for 20-40W STEREO Class-A amplifiers. It contains two independent power supplies for the driver stage and the output stage, using HEXFRED and/or FRED diodes. The main electrolytics (22000uF or 47000uF) are not included on the board and not included in the kit. Be careful when installing/connecting the diodes/capacitors, wrong polarity can cause damages to your equipment.
The board also includes two independent timers, one for the slow-turn-on circuit (Q1) and an optional one for the output relay(s) on the driver boards. The mains transformer should be minimum 400VA for the 2x20W and 600VA for the 2x40W Class-A RIBBON amplifier. The timers need a separate 10VA mains transformer with a 12VAC secondary.
